This cake was made specially for my friend bridal shower. I was her maid of honor, so her shower cake had to be extra special!

I wanted do make the cake look very delicate and fancy so I used a reverse shell border and light pastel colors.

After the cake was finished being decorated I had a lot of frosting left in the pastry bags so I decided to do a little more decoration on the cake board. In the end I like the effect it gives the cake. People also enjoyed scooping the flowers up and eating them too!

*Sweet Advice: When you are ready to write on a cake, mime out writing on the cake first to see where you will end up. You can pretend write over and over without making mistakes until you get your spacing right!
