My favorite of the ‘gourmet’ series. I love strawberries! And pocky. Why not put them both together on a cupcake?

First, I mixed up a strawberry cake mix and made the cupcakes. After the cupcakes cooled I piped on some strawberry flavored whipped topping with a #22 star tip. Next, I carefully sliced some strawberries and fanned them out on top of the cupcakes. For the grand finale I added some strawberry pocky.

These cupcakes are great for late spring early summer. They are very refreshing and are one of the most popular of all my cupcakes.
