‘Tis the season! Time to start decorating the house, and cakes, for the holidays! To make this cupcake cake I arranged twelve cupcakes in the shape of a Christmas tree.
To give the tree ‘pine needles’ I used a #22 star tip and worked from the bottom row up to give it a layered look. Next, the ornaments! A #8 round tip works the best for adding the ornament details to the tree. To add the garland another #8 tip with white frosting. The final touch is the star on top! To make the star I pipe the rays from the inside working out.
Don’t forgot the tree trunk and tree skirt! Perhaps some presents as well?
